Charleston’s newest “Low Country” community Daniel Island is located three miles north of Charleston Harbor between the Cooper and Wando rivers. The Island lies at the easternmost tip of Berkeley County and was recently annexed by the city of Charleston.

Daniel Island is a 4,000-acre master-planned community that includes nearly 7,000 homes, more than 400 acres of parks, a championship golf course, a $9 million world-class tennis center, its own schools and other amenities. Some of the neighborhoods have their own amenities such as pools and playgrounds or may even be gated.
